Who we are
JWOnlineGames.com operates Kingdom Clues and is the data controller for the personal data described here. Contact: bpellicanre@gmail.com.
Independence
This software is developed by one of Jehovah's Witnesses. Kingdom Clues is an independent, unofficial game and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society of New York, Inc. or JW.ORG.
What we collect and why
- Nicknames and game activity (rooms joined, cards dealt and chosen, scores) — to run games and avoid repeating cards. Legal basis: providing the service (contract).
- Email address (only if you sign in) — to send sign-in codes and link your purchased packs to you. Legal basis: contract.
- Purchase records (which packs you own, order reference) — to unlock packs. Legal basis: contract and legal obligation.
- Technical data (IP address, device and browser details, error logs) — for security, fraud prevention and fixing problems. Legal basis: legitimate interests.
- Support messages — to answer your questions. Legal basis: legitimate interests.
Card payment details are collected directly by Paddle, not by us.
Who we share data with
- Service providers that host and run the app, send emails, and store data for us;
- Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record, for the sale of products, payments, tax compliance and invoicing;
- Professional advisers such as legal and accounting;
- Authorities where required by law.
We do not sell your personal data. Some providers may process data outside your country; where required, appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses are used.
How long we keep it
Game data is kept while it is useful for running games and card history. Account and purchase records are kept while your account exists and as long as required for legal and tax purposes. Data is deleted or anonymised when no longer needed.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or export your data, to object to processing, to withdraw consent, and to complain to your local data protection authority. Email us to make a request; we respond within one month.
Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encrypted connections and access controls, to protect your data.
Cookies and local storage
We only use essential browser storage to keep you signed in and reconnect you to your game. We do not use advertising cookies.
